I am so honored to have attended the most amazing event. The Diane Von Furstenberg store in South Coast Plaza hosted an evening welcoming Diane herself. DVF is one of my most favorite all time designers and I just could not believe I was getting an opportunity to meet her.
When I arrived, I was greeted with some champagne and yummy treats and visited with my blogger babes. And then, Diane arrived. She spoke about how she started DVF and her iconic design of the wrap dress. She took time to greet all of us attendees and signed our books. (My best friend Jessica gave me her book The Woman I Wanted to Be for my birthday). Diane was kind enough to sign it. Then out of nowhere she asked if she could style people and I was lucky enough to be her first person to style. She took me throughout the store and asked me what my favorite styles were. I chose the Layla dress. She paired the black and gold polka dot version with an amazing black blazer (both pieces were two of her favorites too) and put me in them!!! I instantly fell in love. I literally felt like Cinderella at the ball. She came to the dressing room with me and told me how these pieces fit me perfectly and she loved it!!! I literally was speechless. This was one of the greatest fashion highlights of my life!!!! I can’t thank the DVF store in South Coast Plaza enough for being the best hosts!!! I had the most memorable evening!!!!!
